A North Carolina native with a taste for travel and wild places, Sydney is currently traveling in Scotland. She spent the majority of 2023 exploring the western US in a ‘96 Toyota Rav4, mostly camping and exploring remote areas of this land. Sydney draws deep inspiration from our natural world and her writing carries this cord through its center. Sydney is a believer in feeling to heal, expression as medicine, and an advocate for our connection to the planet.

Her art inspires and empowers her audience to live in their truth and find freedom inside themselves. Her words and images are vehicles to unlock the buried pieces that hold keys to our individual and collective liberation.

She also creates all-occasion cards with her poetry and photography and hand typed original poetry bookmarks with her 1920's thrifted typewriter. 

Her work has been published in Wild Roof Journal, Carolina Muse Literary & Arts Magazine and Sunday Mornings at the River.
